All About No-Bake Peanut Butter Oat Cups
Ingredients You’ll Need
These oat cups are layered for a balanced bite: a hearty oat base, a creamy peanut butter middle, and a chocolate top. Use high-quality ingredients for the best texture and flavor.
Oat Layer
- Rolled oats
- Honey or other liquid sweetener
- Peanut butter
- Chopped peanuts for crunch
Peanut Butter Layer
- Smooth peanut butter
- Coconut oil to loosen and set the layer
- Mini chocolate chips or mix-ins of your choice
Chocolate Layer
- Dark chocolate, melted
- A small amount of coconut oil to give the chocolate a shiny finish

Our Favorite
Peanut Butter
We prefer a creamy, all-natural peanut butter for these cups because it blends smoothly and offers great flavor for both the base and the filling.

Tools You’ll Need
Basic tools make assembly easy: a mixing bowl, a spatula, a muffin tin or silicone molds, a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl for melting chocolate and coconut oil, and a spoon or cookie scoop to portion the layers.
A Few Tips
Swap the nut butter: If peanuts aren’t an option, almond or cashew butter works well—remember to adjust any chopped nut topping accordingly.
Add an extract: A splash of vanilla or almond extract in the oat base brightens the flavor.
Use dried fruit: Instead of candy pieces, fold in chopped dried strawberries, raisins, or dried blueberries for natural sweetness and color.
