When you think your blog life couldn’t get any better, teaming up with your long-lost blogger twin makes it even more exciting. That’s exactly what happened when Fit Foodie Finds partnered with Ambitious Kitchen to create the Summer SWEAT Series: a free, six-week nutrition and fitness program designed to help you stay consistent, eat well, and get stronger this summer.
Monique and I have been friends for several years. We first connected online, then bonded in person over nut butter and frozen yogurt when Monique lived in Minneapolis. Although she now lives in Chicago, we reconnected on a blogging cruise in March, where this idea came to life. From that spark we built a complete six-week plan focused on both meals and athletic training.
Summer often means relaxed routines—cheat days can increase and workouts can slip. The Summer SWEAT Series was created to keep you motivated: six weeks of weekly meal plans, grocery lists, and structured workouts to help you burn fat, build muscle, and maintain healthy habits. Each week’s plan will be published on our blogs every Sunday beginning June 14th.
We also have an active Facebook group you can join to stay motivated and connected throughout the challenge. The group is a place to ask questions, meet other participants, share tips and progress, and participate in spontaneous giveaways.

FITNESS
For the training portion of the program we partnered with PEC Minneapolis to develop six full weeks of workouts tailored to shredding calories, burning fat, and building lean muscle. Danielle and Drew from PEC are outstanding trainers, and they helped design sessions that are effective, challenging, and adaptable.
Workouts are suitable for all fitness levels and include progressions and regressions so you can scale exercises up or down. Each routine is photographed step-by-step so you can follow clear form cues and save the workouts to your phone for gym or at-home use. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced athlete, these workouts will push you and help you progress safely over the six weeks.

NUTRITION
Nutrition is a core part of the Summer SWEAT Series. With nearly five years of healthy recipe development between both blogs, we’ve put together six weeks of meal plans that prioritize high-protein meals, abundant fruits and vegetables, and limited added sugar. Each week includes complete grocery lists and printable guides to make meal prep straightforward and sustainable.
The meal plans are flexible and can be adapted to your dietary preferences and caloric needs. Recipes are made with whole foods and designed to be simple, flavorful, and easy to prepare—ideal for busy summer weeks when you still want wholesome, satisfying meals.
