It’s that time of year to fill holiday tins with your favorite treats, and this month our cooking club is featuring a simple, crowd-pleasing classic: flourless peanut butter blossoms. These cookies are quick to make, allergy-friendly, and perfect for gifting or sharing at holiday gatherings.

What is Fit Foodie Cooking Club?

The Fit Foodie Cooking Club is a month-by-month cooking challenge designed to get people back into the kitchen and cooking from scratch. Each month we choose one recipe for our community to make together so members can share photos, tips, and variations while celebrating real, homemade food.

Making the same recipe at the same time creates a friendly, virtual meet-up: try the recipe, post your result, and compare notes with other home cooks in our group.

All About Flourless Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

Ingredients You’ll Need

These blossoms use only six main ingredients: peanut butter, brown sugar, 1 egg, vanilla extract, turbinado (or granulated) sugar for rolling, and a chocolate piece such as a Hershey’s Kiss to top each cookie. Because the dough is flourless, these cookies have a tender, slightly chewy texture and an intense peanut butter flavor.

Tools You’ll Need

To make these cookies you won’t need any specialty equipment—just basic tools you likely already own:

  • Mixing bowl and a spatula or spoon
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer (optional, for easier mixing)
  • Cookie scoop or tablespoon for portioning
  • Baking sheet and parchment paper or a nonstick mat
  • Small bowl for the rolling sugar and a cooling rack

#1 Recipe Tip

Our top tip: allow the dough to rest briefly before baking. Resting gives time for the ingredients to come together and hydrate, which improves the texture and makes the dough easier to handle. If your kitchen is warm, chilling the dough for 10–15 minutes can also help the cookies hold their shape.
