12 oz. bottle of Topo Chico: Make sure it is well chilled. Many ranch water enthusiasts prefer Topo Chico for its crisp bubbles, but any high-quality sparkling water will work.

High-quality tequila: Use 1.5 oz. of blanco or reposado tequila depending on your preference. A good-quality tequila makes a noticeable difference in flavor.

Fruit juice: 2–3 oz. Use mango, orange, cranberry, or any juice you enjoy. This step is optional—ranch water also tastes great with just lime.

Lime wedge: Slice the lime thin so it easily fits into the bottle or into a glass.

How to Make Ranch Water

Step 1 — Make room in the bottle

Open a chilled 12 oz. bottle of Topo Chico and drink about 5 oz. to create space for the other ingredients. Aim just below the circular Topo Chico sticker if your bottle has one.

Step 2 — Add tequila and juice

Pour 1.5 oz. of tequila and 2–3 oz. of your chosen fruit juice directly into the bottle. Do not shake the bottle and avoid inserting a straw while mixing—the carbonation will cause it to fizz up and possibly overflow.

Step 3 — Add lime and serve

Gently drop a thin lime wedge into the bottle. Serve immediately and enjoy while the Topo Chico is still fizzy. If you prefer, pour the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice and garnish with the lime wedge.
